Madoka Magica gets PSP game

The recent copy of Dengeki PlayStation has confirmed that Puella Magi Madoka Magica will be getting an adventure dungeon crawler on the PSP. Titled “Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable”, the game has also been confirmed for a release date on March 15, 2012, published by Bandai Namco.

The anime’s head writer (Gen Urobochi) will be involved in the making of the game. Shaft, the animation studio behind the TV anime will also be making the animation scenes for the PSP game. The regular edition will cost 6,480 yen, while the limited pre-order edition will cost 11,990 yen.
