Russia reveals plans for space hotel
The newest hotel plans in development are far out.
Russian firm Orbital Technologies revealed plans for a space hotel at a conference in Moscow this week.
The hotel has a predicted 2016 opening,
New €99 PSP model loses WiFI, debuts this Fall in Europe
Speaking at Sony's Gamescom press conference, new SCEE president Jim Ryan revealed that a new model of the PSP will debut in Europe later this year. This new PSP variant will sport a refined design, though it will not include WiFi. The kicker, however, is the price: a mere €99.00. The new model is expected to launch this fall in Europe. No mention was made of a launch in other territories, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear something!

Working!! 2nd Season Coming this October
The official Japanese website for the Working!! anime franchise began streaming a 102-second promotional video for the second television anime series, Working'!!, on Monday. The video was first shown at the recently concluded Comic Market 80 event in Tokyo, and it features the new opening theme song "Coolish Walk" by voice cast members Kana Asumi, Eri Kitamura and Saki Fujita.The anime is based on Karino Takatsu's manga of the same name, which revolves around a high school freshman named Sota Takanashi who works part-time among a restaurant's high-spirited, eccentric, yet cool staffers. The first season aired during the spring 2010 anime season. NIS America, the American subsidiary of the Nippon Ichi Software videogame company, licensed the series last November and released it under the name Wagnaria!! earlier this year.
Atsushi Ootsuki (Ladies versus Butlers!) will helm the new series rather than first season director Yoshimasa Hiraike, and Takao Yoshioka will take over Hiraike's series script supervisor role. Music composer monaca and character designer/chief animation director Shingo Adachi will both remain on board at A-1 Pictures Inc. The main cast is returning with new cast members Yuuichi Nakamura and Haruka Tomatsu

The Working'!! television series will premiere in Japan this October.
Tales of Xillia PS3 RPG Gets 2 Manga
This year's September issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Gene magazine announced that it will begin serialization of a manga adaptation of the Tales of Xillia role-playing game starting in the magazine's October issue. The manga will tell the main story of the game from character Milla Maxwell's point of view. New manga artist hu-ko will be drawing the manga. In addition, ufotable will be drawing a special Tales of Xillia cover for the October issue. The issue will also include a Tales of Xillia clear file. The monthly Viva☆Tales of Magazine will also publish a manga adaptation of Tales of Xillia. This manga adaptation will tell the main story of the game from character Jude Mathis' point of view. The magazine will publish a pre-serialization chapter in its seventh volume, on sale on August 29. Then the manga will begin official serialization in the magazine's eighth volume, on sale on September 28. Yuuko Satou (Young Gun Carnaval) will draw the manga.
Namco Bandai Games will release Tales of Xillia on the PlayStation 3 on September 8 in Japan.
Tales of Xillia will have a collaborative tie-in with the Star Driver Kagayaki no Takuto science-fiction anime. The videogame will offer costumes from the anime for the main characters to wear as paid downloadable content after the game is released.
The game will also have a costume tie-in for its female characters with the Idolm@ster 2 videogame, which will also be made available as downloadable content.

Han Ye Seul will return to finish filming Spy Myung Wol
KBS Official says it is unlikely Han can return in time for shoot
Korean actress Han Ye-seul will return to her role in the KBS drama series “Myeong-wol the Spy” and finish shooting the 18-part series, her agency Sidus HQ said Tuesday.
"Due to a busy schedule, Han’s body and mind were exhausted, which blurred her judgment. We apologize for this,” the agency said in a statement
“We will make sure that Han returns to the filming scene and finishes shooting,” it said.
After Han suddenly went to Los Angeles skipping the shoot for the KBS drama series “Myung-wol the Spy” Sunday, KBS called her actions “absurd and irresponsible.”
The broadcaster has been airing the drama on Mondays and Tuesdays since July 10 and Han was playing the main role of Myung-wol. After Han’s boycott, the 11th episode of the show on Monday night summarized the previous 10 episodes.
Earlier Tuesday, the director of the KBS drama department Goh Yeong-tak said it was unlikely Han could return to the series unless she came back for the 12th episode, due to be aired Tuesday.
The stance of the broadcaster came as multiple news reports in the U.S. said Han was seen at the Los Angeles International Airport on Aug. 15 morning, local time.
"Han’s actions were unilateral, irresponsible and will not be tolerated. It is not true that she refused to shoot due to a dispute with the production staff,” KBS drama department director Goh Yeong-tak said in a press conference.
Jeong Seong-hyo, chief producer of the KBS, said that the rumors that KBS did not fully prepare the scripts forcing actors to memorize the scripts on the spot or went ahead with excessively tough shooting schedules were groundless.
“After the drama began, Han asked us to reduce her parts and we had to make revisions to some scenes where she did not want to act a comic scene. But she was also busy with her commercial shootings,“ Jeong said.
Han has reportedly claimed in an interview that she was unfairly working long hours due to excessively tight filming schedules of the drama.
“The drama-producing conditions were too tough. Now I have put everything down,” Han was quoted as saying at the Los Angeles International Airport by Hankook Ilbo. The daily said she arrived at the airport on Korean Air flight 017 at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 15, local time.
“I hope that hubae (junior) actors and actresses don’t become a victim like me,” the actress was quoted as saying.
KBS executive producer Lee Gang-hyeon said he received a phone call from Han on Saturday who complained about “being treated like an outcast by other actors and production staffs at the filming scene.”
“Han was supposed to be at the filming scene on Saturday by 8:30 a.m. but she appeared at around 4 p.m. and the producer must have scolded her at the scene. She later said to other staff that day she would not be shooting the drama from Sunday,” Lee said.
Lee Kim Production, the outsourcing production company of the KBS drama, released a statement, saying it will take a legal action against Han.
“The production company has been trying its best to be considerate for Han Ye-seul, when she asked for revisions to the script, filming schedule and even when she was late for shooting time,” Lee Kim Production said.
“We want to make it clear that there was no reason in the filming process to justify Han’s boycotting. Eric, who plays the main male character, had to bear the burden of shooting more scenes since the 5th episode, due to Han’s requests for cuts in the number of scenes,” it said.
KBS said it will go ahead with airing the initially-planed 16 episodes, with a new actress.
Goh said because the drama was based on the script that had won the broadcaster’s drama script contest, it will not change the story but ask viewers’ understanding for changing the actress for the role of Han Myung-wol.

Shin Se Kyung and Cha Tae Hyun get spotted filming for ‘Running Man’
On August 15th, photos of the actress filming for the popular variety show was uploaded onto an online community site.
It was reported that she finished filming for ‘Running Man’ on Jeju Island. In the photo, Shin Se Kyung is seen wearing a pink shirt that’s identical to the ones that members Lee Kwang Soo and Yoo Jae Suk are sporting. In a separate photo, she’s seen eating cozily with them at a picnic table.
Netizens commented, “I’m really anticipating this new episode” and “I’m definitely going to watch the broadcast.” Actor Cha Tae Hyun was the other guest in the day’s filming.

Digimon World Re:Digitize
Namco Bandai have started to talk about Digimon World Re: Digitize on their Digimon game blog. Along with the first blog entry come the first screenshots of the game. The concept for Re: Digitize, according to the blog, is a “return to the starting point”.
This refers to the original Digimon World, released in 1999. Namco say that the original game is still the one that is most praised by fans, and Re: Digitize will inherit certain systems from that game.
Digimon World Re: Digitize follows a 14-year-old boy who travels between the real and digital worlds. Suzuhito Yasuda, known for his work on Durarara!! and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor’s characters, is creating the characters for this game as well. Namco Bandai say they’ll reveal the game’s developer in their next blog post.

Final Fantasy Type-0 demo out, unlock summer clothing

Fans can sample Final Fantasy Type-0 much earlier than expected. Square Enix has announced that the “Natsubi” demo, confirmed earlier this week, will arrive on the Japanese PlayStation Store and on the game’s official website on Thursday, August 11.
Those who download and play the demo will unlock summer clothing outfits for the characters of Class Zero, which can be carried over into the final version.
Han Ye Seul leave Spy Myung Wol ?
Unprecedented in history, a main character in the midst of filming a drama has left the country without permission to Los Angeles after refusing to show up on set.
After continuously building tensions with the production company of KBS’s “Spy Myung Wol”, Han Ye Seul, who failed to show up at the shoot on August 14th, has left to Los Angeles on the afternoon flight of the 15th. The production company and KBS, as well as her co-stars, have shown their frustration towards Han Ye Seul’s attitude. KBS will make a decision on the future direction of the drama’s production on the 16th, although they have primarily decided on a female lead change on the night of the 15th.
A person in the “Spy Myung Wol” production team stated to Star News, “We have confirmed the fact that Han Ye Seul has left for the US… But we don’t know the date and time of her return”.
Her co-stars, who have been sitting and watching the situation as Han Ye Seul has failed to show up at shoots, finally exploded in anger at the news of Han Ye Seul’s departure.
A leading actor’s agency spokesperson questioned in disbelief on a phone call with Star News, “I found out about Han Ye Seul’s departure through the news. Is her departure true?” and added that, “I heard that Han Ye Seul’s agency found out through the news as well”.
The spokesperson continued, “If it is true that Han Ye Seul has departed the country, she must take all responsibility for the situation going on with “Spy Myung Wol… There were some aspects of her issues that could be understood as a fellow actor / actress, but if it’s true that she has left the country alone, she has crossed the line”.
KBS has declared their firm position, as well. Ko Young Tak, the director of drama of KBS, stated on a phone call with Star News, “The top priority as of now is Han Ye Seul’s return to the set”, and that, “Some media outlets have gone head over heels when they reported about changing the lead role, ending the drama, and other speculations. We will make our final decision on the afternoon of the 16th”.
Earlier this day, KBS stated their official stance towards Han Ye Seul’s refusal to show up to the set. KBS stated, “Despite knowing the fact that her absence at the set may cause failures of episodes to air, Han Ye Seul has unilaterally gone under the radar” and added that “With this said, intentionally causing problems to the production of a drama is unacceptable for a public figure”.
KBS continued, “A planned production of a drama is a promise with the people of this nation. Regardless of what the reason may be, Han Ye Seul must alleviate this problem from expanding any further and sincerely take part in the production”.
“Spy Myung Wol” aired a special episode on the 15th and will return to regular broadcast on the 16th.
